AOL members

I am very sorry about this inconvenience, If possible, please do not use an AOL e-mail account to sign up for a CD Designs' list. If you sign up with an AOL e-mail account, there is a good chance you will not get the e-mails you requested from me.
AOL has attempted to reduce spam by limiting the number of e-mails a server can send to their members. CD Designs is hosted on a server that also hosts several other web sites. If one or more of these web sites sends out updates and the AOL limit is met, all other e-mails from that server will be blocked by AOL. Regardless if the e-mail is spam or has been requested.
Both my web host and I have talked to AOL. AOL said this is the way they are going to handle e-mail and they are not going to change it.
On several occasions I have sent out requested newsletters or updates and unfortunately the maximum allowable e-mails from the server to AOL has already been met. In return, AOL sends me e-mails (one for each AOL member I have sent an e-mail to) saying that I can no longer send e-mail to their members because the allowable maximum has been met. This is rather annoying in that it floods my in box with 100s of e-mails from AOL.
Half the time I send out updates, AOL e-mails do not go through and I then get flooded by AOL. Since I can not reliable send e-mail to an AOL e-mail account, may I suggest that you sign up for one of CD Designs' list with another e-mail address.
